I think that my favorite memory from Bona's so far has to be Spring Weekend 2019. Every year, all the students have the opportunity to form a kickball team with their friends, compete in the Spring Weekend tournament, participate in all sorts of recreational activities (bounce houses, mechanical bull rides, I Got It, etc.). It's such a fun way to spend time with your friends and de-stress before finals.
Personally, I love Randy's Up the River, Four Mile Brewery, and Napoli's Pizza. All three are great places to grab a bite to eat with friends or family, and they all have great (but differing) atmospheres.
My favorite place to study on campus is the second floor lounge in Murphy Professional Building, called the First Amendment Lounge. We have super comfy furniture up there, and there's a Keurig for us to make tea, coffee, and hot apple cider! Plus, all my professors' offices are up there if I need help.
I think the most important thing anyone told me was that it's important to get past the exterior appearance of places. A college can be inconceivably beautiful, but if it doesn't feel like home, it probably isn't right. Luckily, Bona's is gorgeous AND homey!
